'subtle, soulful' CLASH // 'slices of anthems greatness' PRS M
Luke Marshall Black has sold out headline shows in Bristol and London, amassed over 1 million streams, and worked with the same production teams involved in Lewis Capaldi and The 1975…all completely independently…so why haven’t you heard of him yet?
Rising through Glasgow’s streets, pub gigs, and venues, Luke built his career from the ground up, eventually selling out headline shows in London and Bristol. Being championed by BBC radio, Luke used his first releases to offer ‘slices of anthemic greatness’ (CLASH) that inevitably caught the attention of the London industry.
A typical story played out to an untypical artist - Luke moved to London and misplaced reverence for the industry swallowed him up and spat him out. What’s different about this story is that the return home to where it all began (Glasgow, Scotland) became more than a retreat….
Having won the battle to re-find his voice, this is an artist stripped of delusion, gathering momentum, and building something stronger than existed before. With an independent mixtape in release, LMB's music carries the rawness of the streets that raised him, the polish of commercial industry experience and the emotional power of an unfiltered journey - from losing yourself to rebuilding from the ashes
